Sexual Assault and Rape Hotlines and Resources
Links to Connecticut and New York resources.

Please note, if you have been sexually assaulted or raped, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. If possible, contact someone close to you to be with you now and to support you through this.. You might need medical attention, which you might not notice, as you might be in shock. Do not shower until you have been seen by a doctor, so that your attacker may be eventually brought to justice. This might not be important to you right now, but in the future, it will be very important to your emotional healing. Remember: what happened to you is not your fault; do not blame yourself! It was an act of violence committed against you and your attacker should be punished and stopped from hurting others.
